About the company:

The company was founded in 1988, Derecske, Hungary as a family business. Initially, the main profile was the repair and winding of electrical machines. However, due to returning regular customers and increased demand, they began to deal with machine tools. It became clear to their customers that they offer real value and good quality and that they are an expert in electric machines, so they began to trust the company. The workshop provides complete repairs, parts supply, maintenance and winding of power generators, installation and refurbishment of pumps, and servicing of explosive motor equipment.

Zákányszerszámház Kft. has come a long way and is still moving forward robustly. Behind more than 30 years of experience, there is hard work and expertise. They try to be more efficient, faster, and more precise every day.

Specialties

  • A unique aspect of Zákány Tool House is that they store thousands of products in their warehouse, and this contributes to their ability to serve their customers very quickly and to have great prices.

  • They continuously expand their product portfolio, nowadays they are distributing and partnering with more than 50 excellent brands (Honda, Bosch, Dewalt, etc)

  • The webshop is very popular, with 5-6000 visitors a day

  • They get 100 orders on a daily basis on their Hungarian webshop

  • They sent out 200-250 packages every day

How did ConvKit help, and which popups did they use?

  • At the time of the interview, there is one big active campaign that offers a special coupon to private customers and to club members and it can be redeemed immediately

  • These coupons are available for the products that are in stock, so the customers can get them the next day

  • In this campaign, it was essential to be able to have two separate campaigns, with two different settings for pc and mobile, making conversion even more effective

  • They have used different designs for the popups to promote the different brands. In this case, it was also very important that they can target the different popups to the brands where they belong (they used URL targeting)

  • They have also used ConvKit for other campaigns:

    • Subscriptions (this popup can be found in our popup library among others, that you can choose with one click and us immediately

    • Last-minute offers (counter popups were very successful, they had better rates than the already used normal text popups)

    • Black Friday (we continuously add popups based on the seasonal designs, for example, Valentine's Day and Christmas)

About the results: at the moment, all of their campaigns were successful, with a lot of clicks, and five times more subscribers than before, thanks to the new popups. They have changed from Optimonk to ConvKit, which resulted well, as they can target their campaigns more effectively.
